Starving In Winter - Homesteading Q&A

In addition to being a hobbyist beekeeper (turning commercial), I am also interested in many other homesteading activities. I have been involved with a community garden, a homesteading meetup group and a chicken legalization movement. I have met many like minded individuals with interests that overlap in to the various activities classified as homesteading, but I couldn’t find any community driven sites that touch all of these topics.
To fill this void, I’ve created a question and answer site, Starving In Winter. For the technical readers, the site is similar to StackOverflow. Anyone can log in to the site to ask a question or respond with an answer. The users of the site dictate which questions and answers are relevant by voting it up or down.
I’m sure many of you are wondering about the name “Starving In Winter”. StackOverflow, ServerFault and a few other of the Q&A sites follow the naming convention of a problem encountered by the target community. For our homesteading ancestors, most problems (drought, famine, pests, etc) would result in them not stockpiling enough food to survive the winter. In this day and age, homesteading is more a hobby than a way of life, and the consequences are not as bad.
